GPS checkpoint verification for security guard rounds. Real-time proof guards completed their patrol route.
Start Free TrialClients pay for regular patrols but you can't prove guards are completing rounds:
GSOC uses GPS geofencing instead of physical tags:
Set required patrol frequency (every 2 hours, for example). If a guard doesn't scan a checkpoint on schedule, you get an alert immediately - not the next morning.
See the guard's complete patrol path on a map. Shows every checkpoint scan with timestamp, plus their GPS track between checkpoints.
Export patrol logs to PDF for client delivery. Shows every checkpoint visited, time, GPS coordinates, and any photos or notes the guard added.
Guard tour is part of the full GSOC platform. Use it alongside:
One mobile app for guards. One dashboard for you.
Included in all GSOC plans. $6.70-$7.90 per guard per month. 28-day free trial, no credit card required. See full pricing.
What if GPS signal is blocked (underground parking)?
Guards can scan as soon as signal returns and note the delay. The app stores the scan attempt timestamp. For permanent dead zones, use a photo-based checkpoint instead.
Can guards fake their location?
The app detects GPS spoofing apps and refuses to log scans if location data looks manipulated.
How close do they need to be?
30 meters (about 100 feet). You can tighten it to 10 meters for sensitive checkpoints or widen it to 50 meters for large patrol areas.
Do clients see this?
Yes, if you give them portal access. Clients can view patrol history, checkpoint scans, and export reports - but can't change patrol routes or schedules.
