The Post Orders Problem

Paper post orders create operational headaches:

Mobile Post Orders

Guards Access From Their Phone

Post orders live in the GSOC mobile app. Guards tap the site name and see current instructions, emergency contacts, patrol routes, and special procedures.

Update Once, Deploy Everywhere

Change post orders from the web dashboard. All guards assigned to that site see the update immediately. No printing, no delivering updated pages.

Confirm Guards Read Updates

When you update post orders, guards get a notification and must acknowledge they've read the changes before their next shift. You see who hasn't confirmed yet.

Version History

Every edit is logged with timestamp and who made the change. Roll back to previous versions. Prove to clients you implemented their requested changes on a specific date.

What to Include in Post Orders

Typical post order sections:

Common Questions

Can guards access post orders offline?
Yes. The app caches post orders locally. Guards can read them even without cell signal. Updates sync when they reconnect.

Can clients see our post orders?
Only if you grant them portal access. You control whether clients can view post orders, and they can't edit or see other clients' sites.

What if a guard doesn't have a smartphone?
You can print post orders from the web dashboard. The system flags printed versions with "as of [date]" so guards know if it's current.

Can we import our existing post orders?
Yes. Copy and paste text, or upload your existing post order PDF as an attached file while you transition to the digital format.
